लिखना मेरे पुरानी बीमारी थी , जो परिस्तिथियों की बलि चढ़ धीरे-धीरे कम होती गई. जिसपर पिताश्री के स्वर्गवासी होने के बाद पूर्णविराम लग गया. मैंने 2008 के बाद शायद ही कुछ ढंग का लिखा हो. दुसरी असाध्य रोग जो मुझे है वो है – घुमक्कड़ी का , यात्रा पर जाने का. पहाड़ को बचपन से देखा , भले ही Zig Zag का परिचय छोटा ही सही , प्रकृति और पेड़-पौधे की तरफ आकर्षण पिताश्री की प्रकृति प्रेम की वजह से हुआ. बचपन में पिताश्री से उनकी घुमक्कड़ी की कहानी, उनसे Zig Zag का परिचय सुनकर और कश्मीर की वादियों की अनेकों फोटो को उनके ब्लैक Zig Zag का परिचय एंड वाइट अल्बम में देखकर ही शायद पहाड़ों की वादियों ने सबसे ज्यादा आकर्षित किया. जिसका परिणाम ये है की मुझे Zig Zag का परिचय हिल स्टेशन , पहाड़ों की वादियाँ , जंगल , समुन्दर ये सब अपनी ओर खींचते रहते हैं. अब ये अलग बात है कि ये ख्वाब हक्कीकत कितनी बन पाती है. किसी भी नगर या महानगरों को देखने या घूमने की अभिलाषा उतनी नहीं रही कभी भी. हिन्दुस्तान के किसी भी नगर या महानगर ने आज तक मुझे आकर्षित नहीं किया , क्योंकि ये खुद मुझे मुर्दों की मजार और कांक्रीट के जंगल लगते हैं.
