    Description

This is a very nice Pre-Columbian Teotihuacan Head Fragment from Mexico. It measures about 1 1/2 inches high and 1 7/8
    th
inches wide. It is a very thin piece measuring about ½ of an inch at its widest.
The Teotihuacan culture flourished between 100 BC and 650 AD. This is a mold piece and therefore this head would date from about 400 AD, when the Teotihuacan began using molds.
The piece shows a face with two eyes, a nose, a slit mouth, two earrings and a fancy head piece.
I have been buying collections of small Pre-Columbian heads from Pre-Columbian dealers, auction houses and antique dealers, here in the United States, for more than 40 years. This piece was acquired from an estate sale many years ago. Everything I know about the piece,I state in my presentations but if you have any questions, please ask before you bid. With each piece, I give a 3
    ½
    by 2 inch identification card.
I guarantee satisfaction with my Pre-Columbian pieces. If a buyer is not satisfied, an item may be returned, within 7 days of delivery, for a full refund of the high bid price.
The buyer is expected to pay shipping and handling of .45 to Continental USA destinations.
PayPal is the accepted method of payment which is due within 5 days from the end of the auction.
    Thank you for your interest.
