    Description

    This sale is for a Taxco Mexico sterling silver modernist pin/brooch/pendant with a turquoise stone. The hallmark stamp on the back should read "Calderon Atachi Sterling Mexico TC-84", however, the bail and the solder used to put it on completely obscure "Atachi" and partially obscure "Sterling" and "TC-84". It is about 1.3" x 1.3", the turquoise stone is just under 1" x 1" and 0.3" thick, and the pin weighs 18.8 grams. The pin is an estate sale find and is in very good used condition with no damage and some toning. It has not been polished since purchase.
