    Description

    Oaxacan  hand carved, hand painted wood carving of the magical cat.
    Cat is 23" high and 7 in wide and about 2 in thick.  Stand is6 x 5 in..   Colorful design in brilliant greens, blue yellow, orange and pink, etc..
    The Alebrije carvings are a technique of the Zapotec people from Oaxaca Mexico, one of the poorer ares of Mexico.
    Figures are carved from wood from the Copal tree and is very light and strong.
