The MIKROE-2036 Heart Rate 3 Click is a mikroBUS add-on board with OSRAM SFH7050 heart rate module and TI AFE4404 analysis front end IC. The SFH7050 multi-chip package contains 3 LEDs and a photodiode that are separated by a grating to prevent optical crosstalk. The AFE4404 is suitable for different lighting conditions or skin tones, allowing heart rate 3 to click on a robust heart rate monitoring solution.
The board communicates with the target MCU using the mikroBUSTMI2C interface. Additional features are provided by the RST, CLK and RDY pins.
Heart rate 3 clicks use a 3.3V power supply and an onboard jumper allows to drive the SFH7050 LED at 3.3V or 5V.
