The color on these bowls will vary from light to medium to dark tones. If you want a particular tone, please let us know beforehand. It will save both of us time and money if you let us know your preference beforehand. And we will try to fill that request. Because  you have been asking for a deeper bowl that is food safe, we've decided to make our deep dough bowls with handles in a food safe option. Let me tell  you, it takes a lot of man hours to apply the food safe sealer and sand and sand and sand. They measure about 10-12" wide x 19-21" long. The depth on these beautiful bowls is about 4-5 inches. We have had a lot of requests for bowls that are food safe. Happy to say we have finally done that. We have added 4 coats of food safe sealer to these deeper bowls. Please understand that the sizes will vary slightly.  The patina we achieve on the them is beautiful.
NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Tone, smoothness, shape,etc, all rustic and never machine made. Please keep that in mind when you buy these. Also, if you have an issue with your item, let us resolve it. We love to make you happy. So please communicate with us on any issue. If you want a particular size (only from the size parameters listed above), then please email us a soon as you buy and we will do our best to accommodate. You cannot be too picky.
