    Description

    This shape memory kit contains 30 Nickel-Titanium-Copper (NiTiCu) compression springs.
    Further details:
    The NiTiCu
    compression spring can be compressed when cold (or during cooling) to a length of 12 mm,  and will return to its original ‘hot’ shape (28 mm long) at about 70°C.
    The spring has an outer diameter of 5.7 mm, the number of windings is 14, and the wire diameter is 0.70 mm.
    The spring can lift during heating a weight up to 250 grams.
    With increased bias weights, higher temperatures are needed to return to the ‘hot’ shape
    The compression springs should only be compressed.
    Pulling these springs will very easily result in permanent deformations.
